Synergy STEAM Camp

The Synergy STEAM Camp is a free*, week-long summer experience for high school students interested in exploring the vital connections between science, health, and the environment. Grounded in the One Health framework—which emphasizes the interdependence of human, animal, and environmental well-being—each day of the camp focuses on a different theme, from Water and Animals to Soil, Air, and Human Health. Campers will engage in interactive labs, creative design challenges, and field experiences led by leaders in their fields.
Sponsored by StillWonder and the One Health Innovation Lab, the camp includes daily lunch and snacks and offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge scientific topics. Participation not only enriches students’ understanding of STEAM fields but also strengthens college applications and builds valuable skills for future careers in science, healthcare, and innovation.
Participants must be in grades 9-12 (ages 14-18). This is a day camp beginning on Monday July 21, 2025 and ending Friday July 25. The daily schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The location is the OSU Botanic Garden. *The cost is free except for an administration fee of $5.
To apply to attend the Synergy STEAM camp, please complete the registration questions and submit. Once your seat is confirmed, a notification email will follow along with any additional information. The online application will close as soon as all seats are filled or by June 10, 2025.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Participation in this camp is free for accepted students thanks to the hard work and generous support of our partners, faculty, and volunteers. However, space is limited, and every accepted participant represents a valuable opportunity for engagement and growth.

If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible—ideally no later than June 23, 2025. This allows us to offer the spot to another student who is eager to participate.

Please understand that late cancellations or no-shows impact not only our planning and resources but also prevent another student from experiencing this unique opportunity.

Thank you for respecting the time, effort, and resources that go into making this camp possible for our community!
